Data records serve as “proxies” for understanding global environmental change across broad scales. You will choose a proxy indicator- coral cores – to research.
Read NOAA’s What are Proxy Data? (https://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/news/what-are-proxy-data to get a brief introduction. Choose which proxy coral cores. Do some research on your proxy and provide a summary.
Include:

• How is data gathered and analyzed?
• What scale of time and space is the proxy useful for investigating?
