How has African art influenced artists in the West?

Many Western Artists have been inspired by African Art, especially the more geometric shapes of sculptures. Consider some of these Western Artists and then write a paper where you reflect on the following question:
How has African art influenced artists in the West? Provide artistic examples. (Please do NOT use Picasso as an example). Support your answer with artistic examples.
