How has isolation from COVID 19 affected your mental health?
Project sections (Use subtitles for each section)
Introduction: Explain why your topic is relevant. You can add some statistics from some of your sources or something that makes a clear point of why this is important. Must include the research question or hypothesis, discuss the “What” and the goals of the project (inductive or deductive, and if it is descriptive, exploratory, or explanatory)
Literature review: summarize and synthesize at least 6 academic peer-reviewed journal articles, and discuss what “Others” have found out in their research about your topic. Articles must be published within the last 5 years unless is a central article for that particular topic. This section is not a list of each article that you found instead you must integrate the articles into different themes.
Conceptualization and operationalization: discuss key concepts by defining them in the context of your study. You must explain how your central concepts or variables are measured. For example, the central concept is violence, the variable is marital abuse, the measurement is the level of abuse and the indicators are the number of incidents of abuse measured on a Likert scale, 0, 1-3, 4-6, etc.
Method of data collection: which method did you use? Provide a sufficient explanation of your methodological approach, and explain “How” you conduct your research. Ex. interview on Zoom
Research participants: discuss the sample and population, discuss the “Who”
Ethical concerns: explain what specific ethical principles were considered in the design and how were these guidelines applied. Be specific (refer to ASA ethics, module 3)
Results (Interviews describe at least 3 patterns; surveys provide descriptive statistics on at least 3 different relations ex. Percentage of mask use by Gender). Graphs and charts are required. Depending on your study: Was your hypothesis supported or refuted? Was your research question answered?
Discussion: connect the dots. Add details by providing quotes from the interviews or an interpretation of key elements of your project, especially where you interpret the results and explain new understanding after you conducted the study. Summarize the process, and connect the purpose with your results. Quotes from your respondents or other data can be important details to support this section. what are some areas for further study? what are some areas for further study?
Limitations: what are the “holes” in your study (for example, sample size)? Explain how your study can be improved.
Annex: provide your interview or survey questions, graphs, statistics, and relevant data that you want to provide. You may include a partial transcription of an interview or data collected that you did not include in your discussion

Surveys: questionnaire must be administered to at least 25 respondents
Questionnaires must have at least 15 questions from which 2 min. should be open-ended
