SJSU Management The Meaning of Exploratory vs Conclusive Questions

I’m trying to study for my Management course and I need some help to understand this question. 1.It is 7 p.m. and John is right in the middle of what he considered to be a very important dinner with others. The phone rings and the caller is conducting a survey.The caller says, “Mr. Hagen, you are one of a scientifically chosen few to participate in this extremely important study dealing with…it is critical that you take just a few minutes to respond to my survey. Your refusal to participate now will seriously affect the usefulness of  the study. Won’t you please help us by participating?”Should John agree to participate? Why or why not?
