Unforgettable travel experiences.

For this nature journal, I ask you to write about one of your unforgettable travel experiences. I’m sure you have been to
some very memorable natural areas, say the Sequoia National Park. Those natural
areas belong to special types of biomes that we will mention (or have mentioned) in
class. You will re-live your experience by writing this journal. You must use the following
5 headings for this particular journal.

Select the most memorable natural area, tell me its name & location. In a short
paragraph, describe the ecological characteristics of your biome. Please include its
unique abiotic & biotic features. You are encouraged to look up information from
websites or other sources. Make sure you cite them properly in this section, and list
your references in the next section (> 150 words)

Write the source of your information, e.g., websites, books, articles, here. Use
the APA format if possible.

III. [The Story]
Turn yourself into a travel journalist. In a paragraph, describe your visit to such a
biome. What did you see? Please make it as specific as possible. Make it like sharing a
narrative travel story of your travel experience with your families by including the when,
where, who, what, why, etc.. (> 150 words)

IV. [My Reflection]
In a paragraph, please reflect on what you feel (emotionally, e.g., what it means
to you) about that biome experience. (> 100 words)

V. [Images]
You are encouraged to embed images of the place you talk about.
