Hi this for a psychology class called “ Animal cognition” the idea of the writing is to find and summarize the paper from after the year 2000 that uses animal models of depression, which the full instruction by the professor is included below. It’s a half page summary of the paper you chose to read from google scholar based on the instruction below but you can go a little bit more than half page below the one page mark.

Find and read one primary research publication from after the year 2000 that uses an animal model of depression. It must contain an assay of animal behavior. Be sure you understand the experimental method and can explain the figures and results (so best to pick a short, simple paper). Come prepared to describe your paper to the rest of the class.

Write a half page summary of your paper, including:

1. The full citation of your paper, including authors, title, journal name, etc. (use Google Scholar and copy the MLA formatted citation as shown in class a couple weeks ago).

2. A link to your paper.

3. What species was used.

4. What depression-relevant behaviors were tested, and how they were tested

5. What results were found
