Write a 4 page essay detailing an issue analysis/logical argument
to create a research essay double-spaced). Research essay should
incorporate information from at least four valid sources not dated
earlier than 2017 to support your own insights and ideas about
your issue.
Remember that the final research essay should include the
following:
● Your claim (thesis assertion) see below
● Supporting claims (topic sentences relevant to the main claim)
● Your own details and examples (appropriate type of support for
your claim, enough support to prove your claim, logical support –
no logical errors)
● Details and examples from 4-5 researched sources not dated
earlier than 2017, evaluated for their validity, and appropriately
relevant to your claims
● Researched information included in different ways, not just a
string of quotes. Use quotations only when they are so wellwritten or unique that it would not make sense to offer their
information in any other way. Otherwise, summarize or
paraphrase the information, putting it into your own words and
sentence structures, to maintain the flow of writing in your essay.
● Objections to your claim (another topic sentence and unit of
support, including your refutation of these objections)
● Persuasive Conclusion
● Appropriate in-text and end-of-text citations using MLA format
