Analysing the Management Information System requirements of an organization

Background
The scenario described in the case study (available on Moodle) presents a description of a problem situation in a business. You are required to study the scenario and produce the report, including diagrams, as detailed below. The maximum word count for the report is 2,000 words (excluding references and appendices).
State any assumptions you feel it necessary to make.
Tasks
Write a report that analyses the information systems requirements of the organization described in the case study scenario (maximum 2,000 words).
1. Describe the problem situation you have determined from the scenario and how you have represented this in the Rich Picture.
2. Include and describe/justify a Rich Picture for the problem situation described in Task 1.
Make sure you use the accepted SSM ‘conventions’ so that the picture is easily understandable by other (less informed/knowledgeable) people e.g. actors within the situation.
3. Produce a Root Definition along with an associated CATWOE which describes the system described in the scenario.
Start by writing a PQR analysis in the form of ‘a system to do P (what) by doing Q (how) in order to achieve R (why)’.
4. Include and describe/justify a Conceptual Model for the Root Definition in 3 above including:
a. Measures of performance (3 Es) that could be used to help control the activities in the model.
5. Include and describe/justify an Information Flow Diagram/Context Diagram for the scenario.
6. Include and describe/justify a Data Flow Diagram for the scenario.
Make sure you include data sinks/sources and data stores as part of your Data Flow Diagram
7. Include and describe/justify an Entity Relationship Diagram for the scenario.
Draw an Entity Relationship Attribute Diagram, in third normal form, to represent the data needed for database described in the case study. Make sure you indicate the cardinality and optionality of each entity relationship, as well as the attributes associated with each. Also ensure you identify primary and foreign keys.
