Students have evaluated the various laws, compliance standards, secure configurations, and policies that organizations must apply to meet business needs and customer expectations, achieving both a level of trust and a competitive advantage. This week’s topic will enhance the knowledge learned by considering the holistic views of security within the corporate environment in regard to establishing a security program and communicating the strategy/roadmap to leadership.
Write a four to five-page paper describing the components necessary for a comprehensive security program for your corporate profile scenario, selected previously. The paper should include:
An executive summary (introduction paragraph) and a closing statement (closing paragraph) that provide the purpose and justification for the elements presented (consider recent events, lack of awareness, loss of finances, reduced competitive advantage, proactive vs. reactive, etc.).
The paper must include at least 10 main elements of a security program (minimum 75 words per component). Examples include: Security Awareness Program, Incident Management, Disaster Recovery, Risk Management Program, Provisioning Process, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Security Operations Center, Security Engineering, Policy Management, etc.
Provide a header for each main element and a paragraph describing the purpose, associated technologies, and best practices for implementation and communication. For example, describe why security awareness training is important, how to implement it throughout your organization, what technology can be leveraged to increase awareness, etc.
Identify which fundamental security design principles are in play, how they interrelate, and methods in which they should be applied to develop systems worthy of trust.

What are the implications of this? 3) What is institutional racism and what are its effects on nonwhite populations in this country in the areas of criminal justice and (choose ONE other institutional area) education, health care, housing, or employment? Important: Include details and quotes that show your understanding of Chapter 11 in Newman AND the following: “Tim Wise: Institutional Racism,” and the TED Talk by Baratunde Thurston. You may also use other examples from your own life, the news, or other trusted media sources.

What role do men play in the formation (and potential dismantling) of harmful gender stereotypes that lead to sexism and the subordination, objectification, and devaluation of women? What is sexism? Include details and examples that demonstrate your understanding of sexism and violence against women from Chapter 12 in Newman as well as a detailed response to the following video clips: “A Call to Men,” and “Gender Violence is a Men’s Issue.”

The purpose of this assignment is to give you experience applying the theories you are learning about to a real personality. You will begin by choosing an interesting person to study and analyze. Be sure to choose someone you truly find interesting, because this person will be your focus throughout the course. Choose a public person you like (a politician, movie star, musician, author, etc.), living or deceased. The only requirement is that there must be sufficient information available about this person’s life for you to adequately complete the assignment. Imagine that you work for a global automobile manufacturer as a lead training and development associate. The head of human resources (HR) has had meetings with various departments, and a training need was identified by the sales department. Sales have dropped considerably in the last quarter, and through a training needs analysis, it was shown that sales associates lack the proper knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) to effectively sell automobiles to various car dealerships in the United States and abroad.
The head of HR has asked that you give him or her a presentation on which major training theory you would recommend to apply to this scenario to equip the sales associates with the necessary skills to increase sales.
Select one training theory. This can be any of the four discussed in this unit or a training theory of your choice that interests you. Then, in your PowerPoint presentation, include the elements listed below.

5) Grace is a widow who has three daughters. She has a will which leaves all of her property to the three
daughters “in three equal shares, share and share alike.” Most of Grace’s money is in an account at
Capital One Bank. As a convenience in case she needs help with paying bills and writing checks, she
asks Capital One to put her daughter Evelyn  on the account as joint tenant. Capital One does so. Ten
years later Grace dies. At her death the Capital One account has $300,000. On deposit. Evelyn argues
that she is entitled to the entire $300,000. Her sisters claim it should be divided 3 ways because of the
clear language in Grace’s will. Who is correct? Why?
6) Sam and Dave are neighbors in a suburban neighborhood.  Sam builds a concrete driveway along his
property line but due to an error by the paving company, the driveway extends three feet onto Dave’s
property. Dave notices this and talks to Sam about it. They agree that the driveway will stay as long
as Sam lives in the neighborhood. Twenty two years later Sam moves away. Dave is still there and
demands that the new owners remove the portion of the driveway on Dave’s property. The new
owners claim they own the strip of the driveway by virtue of adverse possession. Are they correct?
Have all the elements of adverse possession been satisfied?
7) Ben is on a business trip for his employer. He rents a vehicle and is driving around the city. While
driving, he answers a cell phone call from his office. Distracted, he runs into another vehicle. Under
the law of principle and agent, who is liable for the other motorist’s injuries? Ben? His company?
Both? Explain your answer.

• Take note of the different themes of various movies she discusses and the overall argument she makes regarding Civil Rights movies.
• Watch either the movie Just Mercy (2019)or the movie Selma (2014). 
• After watching one of the movies, write a 4-5 page paper that addresses the following questions: Does the movie you watched relate to one of the themes Sharon Monteith discusses in her article? Consider the argument made from the article, “History has less epistemological hold on movies than memory.” Does the movie you saw prove or disprove this statement? In what way? And, also consider the year the movie came out. What does the theme of the movie say about how society at the time of release “sees” the Civil Rights Movement? Remember, do not structure your paper as a list of answers to these questions. Rather, state a thesis in the first paragraph that addresses these questions and then use evidence from the text or the movie to prove your argument.
